For shopping and dining, Mills Falls Marketplace is a popular spot, where a waterfall runs through the middle of a converted antique Mill Building and locals know to make a beeline to Giuseppe’s for delicious pizza and pasta.
If you’re visiting, take a fall foliage tour on the historic Winnipesaukee Scenic Railway, drink local at Twin Barns Brewing or Hermit Woods Winery, or visit one of the numerous ski mountains that are located within a 1-hour drive.
