For everyday needs, Pier 19 Country Store and Tuftonboro General Store are the places to visit, and for bigger shopping trips, Tuftonboro is located conveniently in between Wolfeboro and Moultonborough, which can be reached via a quick car or boat ride.

If you’re visiting, don’t miss Spider Web Gardens. This local gem of a garden store is also a working farm that sells a cornucopia of freshly picked local veggies during the growing season.

When it comes to real estate, Tuftonboro residents enjoy low property taxes. The town is made up almost exclusively of single family homes, and properties with acreage are available. Tuftonboro includes the villages of Tuftonboro Corner, Center Tuftonboro, Melvin Village and Mirror Lake, as well as many of Lake Winnipesaukee’s islands.
